I have been practicing massage therapist since 1979. Since the early 1990's I have expanded my specialty training to include cranio-sacral, lymph drainage and visceral and neural manipulation with the Upledger, Chikly and Barral Institutes. These skills grant me the opportunity to work with the complex patient. Currently my passion for cranio-sacral therapy has taken me into a deeper practice. Cranio-sacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the tissue to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve the body-mind health and performance. Normalizing the environment around the brain and spinal cord enhances the body's ability to self-correct. In addition to my therapy practice I am a certified teacher in Yang style Tai Chi Chuan and therapeutic QiGong.

Hi, my name is Stefan Engels and I'm a physical therapist who did a 4 year program in Germany, which is also my home country. 2 years ago my wife and I moved to Rhode Island and since then I have my own Body Work practice in Cumberland Rhode Island. In my work, I try to analyse different orthopedic problems, which can have a huge effect on either one joint/muscle or can largely effect a whole system. Through a variety of techniques, I will bring different muscles and joints into balance, so they can work in an efficient and proper way. I also see myself as an educator, which means, I always try to explain my clients whats going on in their body and why they feel certain aches and pains and I will provide them with exercises to work on their own individual weak spots or to prevent them from getting hurt again. Through my career in Germany, I worked a lot with professional athletes (mostly soccer players).
Having been the Clinical Driector of an In-Patient Adolescent unit under close psychiatric supervision, and trained in Family Therapy under Salvadore Minuchin, M.D. during the 1980's, I then established an independent private practice, and lived on the Flathead Reservation of Montana in the early '90's. I also practiced in Helena, Montana prior to moving to Pueblo in 2000. In 1998 I began to use Thought-Field Therapy, then Emotional Freedom Techniques, a modality based in acupuncture when it was not recognized as "evidence based, which it finally is. I have also been trained in Acudetox, i.e. 5-Point ear acupuncture which I also use routinely with a number of my clients. I am also trained in Brain Synchronization Therapy. Thus I have always sought out new and more effective ways of being helpful to my clients. I speciallize in treating a wide spectrum of disorders, especially Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I am a relaxation and relationship coach that offers private retreats and coaching for individuals and couples. I specialize in stress management, communication training, and meditation practices. Lisa Kawski invites you to allow yourself to drift off into an inner journey through the power of Guided Meditation and Sound Healing for the Soul. Everything is vibration. Vibration is energy. We connect through energy, to ourselves as well as others. Creating ceremony, ritual and offering sacred sound is a means to connect with one's self on an intimate and personal level. Gentle guidance through meditation invites relaxation - turning inward, expanding outward. Listen to your heart. Let the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes and bells transport and heal you. Sound vibration is a powerful tool to help recalibrate the body, mind and spirit. Feel yourself relax and melt away during this time dedicated just for you. I offer my sound healings locally at several locations: Green Tea Yoga, Wild Dove retail, and Spirit Tree Wellness, as well as in Exeter, NH at Soleil's Salt Cave and White Birch Wellness in Portsmouth, NH.
