Motherhood Matters, Youth Brigade Health Fair
WHA is holding this event to provide an informal interactive discussion platform where we will begin the initial dialogue around the tools, solutions and support for mothers. The Invisible Work of Motherhood
Wholistic health alliance is honored to partner with About Motherhood and True Story Theater to present an unusual event: the live enactment of each participant’s true story of her work as a mother that remains invisible.
Audience will be MOTHERS ONLY. Come tell your story/hear others tell theirs.
Swati Nawathe has been a Registered Dietitian for over 30 years in various settings. She has a Master’s degree in Foods and Nutrition. She has worked in hospitals, outpatient clinics for individual counselling as well as in Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab and long-term care facilities (Nursing Homes). She has taught vegetarian cooking classes. Currently she works as a Renal Dietitian / Nutritionist at a Dialysis Center.
She is passionate about using good nutrition, also loves yoga and has been doing meditation for several years.
